  1. As a former board member of Belhaven, I don’t listen to many chapel services, but for some reason I did tonight. At first I thought Dr. Estes was a student, but I was blessed by his message. I am partial to speakers who use the Word of God liberally without having to fill in with anecdotes. For a student body who is concerned with the “end times” of papers and finals, this was a meaningful reminder that the Kingdom of Heaven is of more eternal importance that our day to day concerns. If I am asked to “preach” at a future time in our local PCA church, I may steal some of Dr. Estes’ points. I am so thankful that Belhaven has professors like Dr. Estes who can spread God’s Word instead of just “equations”. Blessings,
    Brock

  2. I really enjoyed this by Dr. Estes! It is such an important thing to remember that the deciples were just ordinary people and Jesus offers that clean slate to everyone. The Kingdom of God is here and now and it’s up to us to tap into it. Very inspiring!
