Aaron and Winnie Horvat discuss drama missions in Croatia

Aaron and Winnie HorvatSo you want to be a missionary, but you are into theater? The Horvats are doing what all missionaries should do: using their God-given interests and gifts, but overseas. If you don’t know where Croatia is, or what drama-missions is, come hear them speak tonight at 7:30pm in the recital hall, at the Center for the Performing Arts at Belhaven. It will encourage you to follow their innovative ministry.

We heard from the Horvats on Thursday night in the Modern cross-cultural methods class. They talked about the division between Catholicism in Croatia and the Eastern Orthodox church in Serbia, and how the two ethnic groups find sharp divisions linguistically, though they share a common language. (Croats use the Roman alphabet and Serbs use the Cyrillic).
