Belhaven High Scholars Hosting Information Webinar, Space Available for 2018-19 Academic Year

Belhaven University is well known for its emphasis on worldview and for its relationship with the homeschool community. But did you know that fifteen years ago, under the leadership of Dr. Dan Fredericks, Belhaven designed an onlinedual enrollment program with weekly live discussion just for high school students? Since then, hundreds of students have taken advantage of this Belhaven opportunity.  Getting college credits while still in high school has become the norm in recent years, and Belhaven was on the cutting edge of that movement.

If you are looking for credits from a biblical perspective, this is the program for you. High Scholars integrates history, composition, literature, and art appreciation in a comprehensive survey of Western Civilization. Recorded video lectures by our professors, regular homework assignments, coupled with three hours of weekly online discussion allow students to analyze each civilization, comparing and contrasting it with the biblical worldview. Students quickly realize the transforming power of biblical truth, not just for individuals, but also for entire civilizations.

Please see individual course titles and credits. We encourage students to take the full two years for 24 college credits, but students are welcome to enroll for just one year with 12.
