Our alumnus, Tramaine Brock was called into one of the most high pressure arenas in all of athletics yesterday during the NY Giants vs. San Francisco 49ers NFC Championship game.
Tramaine, a 2010 graduate of Belhaven, is a cornerback for the San Francisco 49ers.
He regularly plays on special teams – kickoff and punts. And sometimes rotates in during the game in coverage where the defense calls for an extra defensive back.
But last night, the starter who plays Tramine’s position, Tarell Brown, was hurt in the 3rd quarter, and Tramine took over the role with the game on the line.
He played exceptionally well, and took over the position like a seasoned pro.
Congratulations Tramaine – BU is proud of you. Go Blazers!
