Alumnus Bobby Ladner New Head Football Coach at AU

Congratulations to 2003 alumnus, Bobby Ladner who was named this afternooon as the head football coach at Anderson University in Indiana.

I’m thrilled for Bobby and Anderson, a fellow Christian University and needs a coach who knows the x/o of coaching, but most importantly knows the leadership, ministry, and spiritual impact of coaching.  Bobby is the right guy!

Here is the press release posted a few minutes ago by AU:
Anderson University has announced the hiring of Bobby Ladner to be the new head football coach. Ladner replaces Jeff Judge, who guided the Ravens from 2003-2011. Ladner comes to Anderson University from Concordia University in Selma, Ala., where he served as assistant football coach and recruiting coordinator. Prior to his time at Concordia University, Ladner served as assistant head coach, defensive coordinator, and recruiting coordinator at Olivet Nazarene University. Ladner becomes the 12th football coach in school history.

“We are very excited to bring to the Raven football program a young, talented leader in Coach Bobby Ladner, said Dr. James L. Edwards, president of Anderson University. “At first meeting Bobby impressed us as one who understands and is deeply committed to our values and has the energy, intellect, experience, and vision to lead our program to success.
