Our Fall Dance Concert is Always Spectacular

Remember, admission is free for students as well as faculty/staff and their families

For Belhaven University’s Fall 2012 Dance Concert we have a variety of offerings spanning dance history beginning with “Water Study” choreographed by Doris Humphrey in 1928, George Balanchine’s classic “Serenade” beautifully constructed in 1935, Laura Morton’s “For Your Dancin’ Pleasure” is set 1940 war times to familiar big band tunes and “Songs of the Disinherited” created in 1973 by Donald McKayle celebrating the Black Dispora in the New World. Two newly constructed works by Ryan Corriston and Caleb Mitchell offer balance to the program bringing perspective to contemporary topics and experiences that we can consider through a Christian Worldview.
