Friday was a lot of fun! We had BAT (Belhaven Activities Team) once a month where we sat around and talked together before we set up for the luau. When it was all set up, Sandi and I ran over to the volleyball game to catch ten minutes of the game before going back for the luau. That was one intense volleyball game. Which we won..of course. The luau had food, including a pig roast, games, and dancing.
Saturday was really busy. We had a soccer game at 12 at Millsaps that we dressed up for and painted the guys. We spelled out ”[heart] our blazers!” with girls in t-shirts and guys with painted chests. That was also an intense game. We won 2-1 in overtime. Then we showered and ran out for more stuff for the football game. We came back and painted our faces and sprayed our hair, then went up to the RUF tailgate. As the guys came, we painted them again, this time a little more extravagantly. This time, we had enough people to spell “We [heart] our blazes!” We had an “R” but she fell asleep and missed the game. Blazes is just as effective, I think. Anyway, that was NOT an intense game, and we ended up losing 34-14. It was a bummer after winning all the other games against Millsaps.
Today, I set out to memorize my speech for Tuesday. I have a third of it done. I’m taking a break by writing this and doing my Master Learner Seminar journal. I have Christian Perspective and Algebra tests on Friday… ick!
